Pseudotumor Cerebri

Pseudotumor Cerebri is a condition that is usually referred to as an Intracranial Hypertension. Even though some doctors and professionals will refer to it as Intracranial Hypertension, that is no longer the correct term for the condition. Medical researchers feel that using that terminology is inaccurate and doesn’t fully represent the condition and its severity. The characteristics of the condition are swelling in the skull that causes an abnormal fluid pressure to build up. This condition is serious but generally easily treated. The major complications associated with Pseduotumor Cerebri are extreme headaches and poor vision.
